The Surface Transportation Board Issues Decision Rejecting Proposed Canadian National-Kansas City Southern Voting Trust
On August 31, 2021, the Surface Transportation Board (STB or Board) determined, Docket No. FD 36514, that the proposed Canadian National (CN)-Kansas City Southern (KCS Voting Trust is not in the public interest. FRCA participated in this proceeding, asserting that the proposed voting trust is not in the public interest.
