STB Issues Final Rule on Market Dominance
On Aug 3, 2020, the Surface Transportation Board released its Final Rule (FR) establishing a streamlined approach for pleading market dominance in rate reasonableness proceedings: Docket No. EP 756, Market Dominance Streamlined Approach. It becomes effective Sept 5, 2020. It also begins the process of initiating a new proceeding to consider alternatives to the 500-mile trucking limit for specific commodities.
