Freight Rail Customer Alliance Support the Reliable Rail Service Act

On June 28, 2023, the Freight Rail Customer Alliance (FRCA) joins 50 other shipper groups and organized labor in supporting the Reliable Rail Service Act jointly introduced by Senators Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Roger Marshall (R-KS).  Statutorily clarifying the decades-old Common Carrier Obligation definition, which this bill would do, is a key step in holding railroads accountable for reliable service at competitive rates.  The FRCA press release can be read here.
