DESCRIPTION

Freight Rail Customer Alliance (FRCA) is a coalition representing freight rail shippers impacted by continued unrestrained freight rail market dominance over rail-dependent shippers.

MISSION STATEMENT

FRCA seeks changes in Federal law and policy that will provide all freight shippers with reliable freight rail service at competitive prices.

STRATEGIC GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

There are two major goals and objectives for 2023:

1. Continue transitioning to a more diverse membership with increased participation by freight rail shippers among a variety of commodities and industries such as aggregates, agriculture, automotive, chemical, fuels, paper and forestry, petroleum, and utilities.
2. Continue working towards making the Surface Transportation Board (STB) a more effective forum for effectively addressing freight rail service and pricing issues.
