Freight Rail Customer Alliance Issues Supportive Statement Upon Introduction of Freight Rail Shipping Fair Market Act
On August 2, 2022, the Freight Rail Customer Alliance (FRCA) issued a statement supporting the introduction of the Freight Rail Shipping Fair Market Act, H.R. 8649, authorizing the Surface Transportation Board (Board) for five years and providing the Board with enhanced tools to hold railroads accountable for reasonable service at reasonable rates – consistent with FRCA’s longstanding policy goals and objectives.
