Freight Rail Customer Alliance Submits Comments Refuting Railroads’ Claims in Surface Transportation Board’s Request for FIRST-MILE/LAST-MILE SERVICE Public Comments

On February 17, 2022, the Freight Rail Customer Alliance (FRCA) filed reply comments before the Surface Transportation Board affirming the necessity for the it to collect Class I rail carrier FMLM data in the aggregate especially considering the impacts of Precision Scheduled Railroading. Joining FRCA in this submittal were the National Coal Transportation Association, Portland Cement Association, Steel Manufacturers Association, and Western Coal Traffic League.
