Surface Transportation Board Decides Proposed Canadian National-Kansas City Southern Voting Trust to be Reviewed Under “New or Current” Merger Rules
On May 17, 2021, the STB determined that the proposed Voting Trust in the CN-KCS transaction is subject to “current” merger rules and assigned Administrative Law Judge Thomas McCarthy to entertain and rule upon discovery matters and to resolve initially all disputes concerning discovery in this proceeding.
