WASHINGTON AREA AIRPORTS
The Washington metro area is served by three different airports, the closest of which is Reagan National (DCA), located just south of the District in Arlington, VA. It is directly served by the Metro (subway) system, making it the most convenient of the area’s airports.
The other two airport options which s are considerably farther outside of the District are:
- Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD): Approx. 45 minutes from Washington
- Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI): Approx. 45 minutes from Washington
